Responsibilities of a Remote Customer Care Order Placement Representative

Your primary duties will include processing orders for distribution centers and internal customers, adhering to scheduling, demand planning, and inventory management. Active involvement in resolving customer inquiries and ensuring that all processes are executed seamlessly is key. You’ll tackle a high volume of customer interactions and manage complex queries efficiently. A high school diploma or equivalent and excellent communication skills are essential.

• Interact with customers, caregivers, and referral sources regarding medical supplies with genuine interest.
• Skillfully manage high call volumes throughout the day with professionalism.
• Accurately process new and returning customer orders and handle insurance billing as needed.
• Efficiently navigate company systems to resolve customer issues in real-time.
• Adhere to compliance standards and regulatory requirements in all tasks.
• Maintain a positive, empathetic attitude toward customers and team members consistently.

Required Competencies and Experience

• A minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
• At least 2-4 years in a high-volume call center environment is advantageous.
• Previous experience in remote work settings is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and order placement systems is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication are expected.

Compensation and Benefits Insight

The anticipated hourly pay range is between $15.75 and $18.50. Although bonus eligibility is not included, Cardinal Health offers extensive benefits to support your health and well-being, including medical coverage, paid time off, and 401k savings plans.
