Embark on a new opportunity with Yardi Matrix as they hire Remote Rent Surveyors this Spring to support comprehensive rent surveys. As a Remote Rent Surveyor, you will engage with apartment complexes, posing as potential renters to gather vital data for industry surveys, including rents and features. Uniquely, background noise isn’t an issue, making this role accessible from varied environments.
Compensation includes $6 per hour plus a piece rate: $.50 for surveys marked Done, $.30 for Wrong Number, $.20 for Part-Done, and $.07 for Answering Machine or No Answer. Rest assured, you’ll receive at least minimum wage within your jurisdiction, with the potential to earn more based on efficiency and speed.
Eligibility is limited to current US residents and citizens.

The Role of a Remote Rent Surveyor
Why Conducting Surveys Matters – Our updates on rental communities involve frequent evaluations. Through these surveys, we refresh data on rents, current offers, and other variable factors by engaging with apartment communities.
Technical Requirements – High-speed internet and long-distance phone service are necessary. While there’s no sales component, surveys require good telephone skills and a considerate demeanor.
Role-Playing Required – To secure accurate data, assume the role of a renter during surveys.
Survey Timeline – Team members must complete at least 75 surveys their first week, with subsequent weeks requiring 100 surveys, conducted from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM in the relevant time zone. Only fully completed surveys marked as Done count towards requirements; partial or incorrect responses do not.
Compensation Structure – Earn $6 an hour and additional piece rates, with the assurance of minimum wage for all hours worked. Increased efficiency can lead to higher earnings.
Employment Terms – Participation in Fall 2025 surveys involves temporary employment with Partners Personnel, working for YARDI MATRIX.
