Exciting Opportunity: Remote Customer Service Representative at CVS Health

This role welcomes applicants who reside in the U.S. Eastern and Central time zones only.

As part of the team, after an 8-10 week training, you will assist Medicare Advantage members through phone calls, online inquiries, and written communication.

The hourly wage offered is $17-$25.65/hr. Additionally, CVS Health provides benefits that include medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, and more.

Position Details

This role operates completely remotely.

It offers permanent work-from-home flexibility for candidates situated in the EST & CST time zone. Please note the following hours:

Training Schedule Details

  • 8-10 weeks; training hours are from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday. (No absence allowed during training, no exceptions)

Permanent Working Hours

  • Shifts can commence as early as 8:00 am and conclude as late as 6:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

  • We are on the lookout for exceptional talent to join our next wave of Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) for our Medicare Customer Service team.
  • The Aetna Medicare Customer Service team is dedicated to delivering proactive, compassionate service, consistently exceeding our member’s expectations. Our strength lies in our people.
  • CSRs respond to inquiries from Medicare Advantage members through inbound calls, internet requests, and written correspondence.
  • You will engage compassionately with Medicare beneficiaries, ensuring attentive listening and patience.
  • Ongoing training and self-development are essential parts of the role.
  • CSRs must work independently while effectively collaborating with team members to enhance the member experience.
  • Success in this role requires proficiency in navigating various systems to resolve members’ issues.
  • A genuine passion for providing top-notch customer service, excellent verbal and written skills, and adaptability to continuous changes are crucial.
  • Previous customer service experience with seniors, familiarization with medical terminology, or familiarity with health insurance plans is highly desired.

Qualifications Required

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in health insurance

Preferred Qualifications

Additional qualifications that could enhance your application will be considered.

Educational Requirements

Relevant educational achievements will be advantageous.

Pay Structure Overview

The pay rate for this role ranges from $17.00 to $25.65 per hour.

This range outlines the base pay rate applicable for all positions in the job classification to which this position belongs. The final salary will depend on various factors, including experience, education, geography, and other pertinent considerations.
