The Role: Responsibilities and Expectations
As a Customer Support Advocate at Brightwheel, you are expected to assist our dynamic community of educators and parents by effectively communicating product solutions. Collaborate with a cross-functional team from Customer Success and Product/Engineering departments to enhance customer education. Ideal candidates are those who can propose innovative solutions and actively champion customer feedback to support product development.
Professionals interested in this role should have customer service proficiency, ideally with technical troubleshooting experience. You need to empathize with the educational community, understanding the daily experiences of both teachers and parents.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Master the Experience Early Learning product and curriculum, acting as a knowledgeable resource for customers.
- Utilize strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address technical or usage issues accurately.
- Participate in live support interactions through chat and phone, ensuring prepared interactions for effective problem-solving.
- Deliver clear instructions to educators, administrators, and parents using various communication channels.
- Advocate for customers by representing their issues and using feedback for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to process enhancements to benefit customer relationships and satisfaction.
- Monitor performance metrics to maintain service standards and client satisfaction levels.
Skills and Qualifications Required
- Minimum of one-year experience in customer service or early education.
- Strong writing, listening, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.
- A proven passion for educational improvement.
- Advantageous experience includes working within educational settings and proficiency with CRM systems like Zendesk or Salesforce.
- A bachelor’s degree is advantageous but not required.
