The NFT market has experienced a significant boost in weekly sales, climbing to an impressive total of $85.9 million, with the Ethereum network maintaining its lead.
According to the latest report from Cryptoslam, NFT sales volume increased by over 10% in this week alone, affirming the growing interest in digital assets. These figures surpass those seen in the last weeks of September, marking a notable trend in the non-fungible token arena.
Beyond the sales volume upsurge, there’s also been an impressive 21.73% increase in the number of NFT buyers. Recent data indicates that buyers have reached a total of 794,763, while the number of sellers has decreased significantly to 377,711.
Supporting these trends, NFT transactions have soared by more than 64.72% to a total of 1,295,620 over the past week. This article will explore the dominant networks that have made the largest sales during this period.
Ethereum Stands Tall in the NFT Marketplace
From Cryptoslam data, Ethereum has secured the top position, reaching an NFT sales volume of $27.48 million. However, it’s crucial to note that $3.3 million of these sales were attributed to wash trading, which involves misleading trading activities. Ethereum has also seen a 12.49% rise in NFT buyer participation, reaching 55,859 participants.
Next in line, Bitcoin recorded $12.62 million in weekly sales, despite experiencing a noticeable 40% decline in sales over the past week. Solana followed closely with $11.8 million. Meanwhile, Mythos Chain, Polygon, and Binance Coin also showed solid performances with sales of $11.8 million, $10.6 million, and $3.35 million, respectively.
When considering wash trading, Bitcoin and Solana accounted for $887,810 and $701,810, respectively. Notably, Solana had the highest buyer count, reaching 393,044.
