Responsibilities of a Remote Customer Service Specialist
Symetra seeks individuals capable of delivering exceptional service. You will handle incoming calls and written requests, addressing a variety of queries related to policy statuses, new business applications, product knowledge, and service issues. Mastery of diverse product types and a growing knowledge base will be vital.
Your Daily Contributions
- Respond to incoming calls and support agents with varied inquiries, including processing of new business applications and existing in-force transactions.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of procedures for New Business, Claims, and Back Office functions.
- Document interactions with precision and clarity.
- Guide and train fellow Associate Customer Service Representatives.
- Consistently execute transactions with promptness and accuracy, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
- Undertake additional challenges as assigned by management.
About You
- Outstanding skills in customer service with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Remarkable multitasking abilities and the use of available resources.
- Proactiveness in anticipating customer needs and providing empathetic service while mentoring new colleagues.
- A high school diploma or equivalent experience required.
- Six months to a year of experience as a Customer Service Representative or in a similar role.

Compensation
