This role requires you to evaluate contracts, establish coverage parameters, negotiate terms with contractors when necessary, and communicate effectively with team members about claims that are not covered.
Role Expectations and Key Responsibilities
As a pivotal member of the team, the Remote Contact Center Associate is responsible for authorizing repairs or replacements for covered systems and appliances. This entails negotiating cost terms, notifying customers of uncovered claims, and ensuring timely follow-up. Candidates for the position should bring 1-3 years of customer service experience, proficiency in contract interpretation, advanced computer skills including the Microsoft Office Suite, and exceptional attention to detail.
Schedule Options for the Remote Contact Center Associate Role
Pursuing a remote career in this full-time role involves embracing a consistent schedule, albeit may evolve based on business demands.
Schedule 1
- Days Off – Sunday and Monday
- Work Days – Tuesday to Friday from 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. CST
- Saturday – 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST
Schedule 2
- Days Off – Friday and Saturday
- Work Days – Monday to Thursday from 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. CST
- Sunday – 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. CST
Qualifications to Be a Remote Contact Center Associate
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Completion of High School or possession of a GED, or an equivalent blend of education and relevant experience
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service or equivalent training is essential
Skills You’ll Bring to the Table:
- Comprehensive contract reading ability
- Proficiency with business policies and procedures
- Strong skills in customer service, conflict resolution, and negotiation
- Solid computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Attention to detail and the capacity to juggle multiple tasks
- Flexibility to adjust to a dynamic working environment
- Must have a reliable internet connection with minimum 4.6Mbps upload/download speeds
