Details of the Remote Customer Support Role

Liveops is calling for motivated individuals to deliver remote customer support for Turbo Tax during their peak season as Independent Contractors. This position is open to those eager to work virtually and assist customers in navigating tax-related queries.

Prepare for Success with Liveops Certification

No tax experience is necessary! Liveops provides a comprehensive three-week certification program to prepare you for this role.

• Certification runs Monday to Friday
• Dates: March 10, 2025 – March 28, 2025
• Choose sessions either from 10am-12pm ET or 4pm-6pm ET
• Attendance at one session per day is mandatory

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• At least one year of experience in phone-based customer support
• Proficient computer skills for handling multiple systems and call documentation
• Strong command of English (verbal and written)
• Ability to sit for extended periods
• Patience and empathy are crucial traits
• Comfort working independently

• Earn $0.34 per minute of talk time (equivalent to $18-$20/hour)
• Avail exciting incentives for meeting client-specific requirements during training and beyond. Potential incentives may exceed $250.

Flexible Hours

• Work any time between 8am – 12am ET, 7 days a week
• Manage your own schedule by picking 30-minute slots
• Commit to a minimum of 80 appointments a month; Successful agents average 20 engagements weekly

• Processor: Minimum Intel Core i5 or equivalent
• Operating System: Windows 10 or 11
• Browser: Up-to-date versions of Chrome, Edge, or Internet Explorer
• Screen Resolution: 1024 x 768 or higher
• Internet Speed: Minimum download rate of 10.0 Mbps; upload rate of 3.0 Mbps
• Memory: Minimum of 8 GB RAM
• Dual monitors are necessary

Steps to Becoming an Independent Contractor

1. Reside in the following states: AK, AL, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WV, WY
2. Complete the application and technology assessment
3. Pursue onboarding, which includes:
• The Independent Contractor Agreement
• Passing identity verification and background screening (fee: $25)
• Setting up direct deposit
• Accessing the agent account
4. Select your first client opportunity
