Insight into the Remote Customer Service Role
The Provider Customer Services Call and Chat Representative supports individuals who provide care. You will be tasked with clarifying questions about a range of topics such as benefits, eligibility, billing, payments, and health behavior both through calls and chats.
This 40-hour per week full-time position typically operates Monday to Friday. Employees should have the flexibility to work various eight-hour shifts between 10:35 AM and 7:05 PM CST. Occasionally, due to business needs, weekend, overtime, or holiday work may be required.
The role includes 11 weeks of paid training, which will run from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM CST, Monday to Friday. Training will be conducted remotely from your home.
Eligibility for working remotely extends to those residing within Central, Eastern, or Mountain Time Zones, offering the advantage of addressing complex challenges from a virtual environment.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Champion the cause of providers by taking ownership and resolving issues effectively.
- Offer service across multiple channels like call and concurrent chat as needed.
- Efficiently triage communications from healthcare professionals (e.g., clinics, billing offices).
- Identify and fulfill provider needs, handling queries on benefits, eligibility, billing, and more.
- Conduct extensive research to untangle complex authorization and claim issues, preventing future repetitions
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure timely resolution and communication to providers.
- Effectively multitask across over 30 systems to gather necessary information to address diverse issues.
- Influence provider utilization of self-service tools, promoting their advantages for faster resolution.

Required Competencies and Credentials
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
- Candidates must be 18 years or older.
- At least one year of customer service experience, with an emphasis on problem-solving.
- Proficiency with Windows PC applications, capable of adapting to complex systems.
- Typing speed of 35-40+ WPM with a 90% accuracy.
- Availability to work full-time within the period from 10:35 AM to 7:05 PM CST, Monday to Friday. Additional hours may be necessary based on business requirements.

Telecommuting Expectations
