Exciting developments await in the Etherum mobile game universe as “Guild of Guardians” unveils its inaugural expansion. Known as Frostmire, this new expansion is scheduled for release on October 16 and will feature a captivating icy landscape alongside two legendary Guardians.
Players will journey to the newly introduced Frostmire locale—an environment filled with snowy peaks and frozen terrains. Enthusiasts will not only delve deeper into the game’s lore but will also meet two fresh faces: Lisca and Dolvir.
Meet Frostmire’s Legendary Guardians
The first of these is Lisca, a remarkable ranged hunter with a penchant for humor and sweet treats. Growing up in Frostmire, Lisca’s abilities are finely tuned to the harsh cold, making her a formidable presence. In contrast, Dolvir is a mighty warrior guardian, lending offensive prowess to any lineup. Both can be acquired or summoned via the Altar of Sacrifice from the onset of the expansion.
As stated by Chris Clay, the Game Director, Lisca will traverse the frost effortlessly, delivering devastating ranged attacks, whereas Dolvir will disrupt adversaries with summoned allies that enhance combat effectiveness.
Exploring the World of “Guild of Guardians”
Those who play “Guild of Guardians,” available on both iOS and Android, embark on adventures guiding their Guardians through complex dungeons. Each successful venture expands their skills and enriches their loot collection. Uniquely, the game integrates Ethereum-based NFT trading card elements through its use of the Immutable zkEVM scaling network.
Inspired by games like Teamfight Tactics, it incorporates an auto-battler framework while preserving its “roguelite” essence. Future regions are expected every four to six months, driven by player progression and expansion balance.
The Frostmire expansion promises to offer new adversaries, music, and enigmatic surprises, all contributing to a revitalized gaming experience. Furthermore, level-7 equipment and gear will amplify Guardians’ combat capabilities.
