Your Ghost Tour Guide Adventure Awaits
Living in one of over 100 haunted locations could allow you to team up with US Ghost Adventures, bringing stories to life with figures from the past. Whether it’s Great Aunt Linda’s tales or other ghostly characters, you’ll be the medium between history and the present.
Becoming a Ghost Tour Guide: Steps to Success
US Ghost Adventures seeks passionate storytellers to lead evening tours, guiding adventurers through spine-chilling streets. Each tour begins at 8 p.m., lasting around 90 minutes and covering a mile. Participants should be charming and articulate, loving a mix of fun and a part-time income.
- PAY: $40 to $50 per tour, plus tips
- TOUR LENGTH: Approximately 90 minutes, accommodating 2 to 35 guests
- AVAILABILITY: Nightly tours, all year round
- COMMITMENT: At least 3 nights per week for a year
- LOCATION: Must live within 15 miles of the tour area
The Guided Journey to Tour Guiding
Embarking on this journey takes you through four streamlined steps, all designed to have you leading tours within a fortnight! Your pace determines how swiftly you’ll start. We assist every step of the way and even offer a $200 referral reward once a friend completes 20 tours.
Step 1: Begin with an Intro
Our enriching webinars occur thrice to four times weekly, offering wonderful insight into the role and a chance for live Q&A. If unable to attend, feel free to move forward by submitting your initial audition.
Step 2: The Audition and Contract
Following a successful audition, we’ll send a contract through DocuSign. With the contract finalized, you receive materials to study your tour’s content and path, prepping for your live test.
Step 3: Training and Testing
Gain confidence by rehearsing and exploring the tour route. Engage friends or observe established tours for extra insight. Once you confidently pass the test, your first hands-on experience shadowing a guide will commence.
Step 4: Onboarding and Launch
Congratulations! Once you ace your supervised tour, you’ll receive your official gear and join our vibrant schedule, thrilling guests with captivating tales.
