What Your Role as a Remote Drug Testing Coordinator Entails

The Remote Drug Testing Coordinator is not just about administrative tasks; it’s a role where compliance and client interaction are key. Your responsibilities will include generating return-to-duty tests, monitoring compliance, and coordinating with account managers.

• Notifying clients about employee list submissions and random list availability
• Importing files into the random generator
• Generating random selections based on guidelines
• Issuing monthly and quarterly random lists
• Ensuring compliance with testing requirements
• Updating client compliance spreadsheets
• Removing non-compliant employers
• Onboarding new clients into the system
• Maintaining client contact and compliance information
• Processing billing as needed
• Providing compliance information for audits
• Reviewing SAP letters for regulatory compliance
• Scheduling tests as per SAP recommendations
• Monitoring test completion
• Reporting results to FMCSA Clearinghouse
• Maintaining client-specific procedures
• Processing notifications according to client requirements
• Supporting the MRO Department as needed

What Sterling is Looking for in a Candidate

Sterling seeks candidates who hold at least a high school diploma or equivalent, with one year of customer service and office experience. While one year of drug and alcohol testing experience is preferred, it is not mandatory.

• At least one year in customer service and general office roles
• Preferred: One year of drug & alcohol testing experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute
